In this blog we will discuss skin products that are worth it and actually help your skin!

Double cleansing is a great way to remove any excess sebum, buildup, makeup (yes, even waterproof), sunscreen, and excess oil. If done correctly and with the right products that work for your skin, it should not clog any pores, reduce breakouts, and improve absorption. After using any type of cleansing oil, it should always be followed up with your water-based cleanser to remove remaining residues from the oil-based cleanser.

Searching for a good sunscreen can be difficult. We all want a sunscreen that doesn't leave a white cast, is easy to use, is blendable, and looks good under makeup. Sunscreen is the last step of your skincare routine, but it is also one of the most important steps.

Why?

  • It prevents UV rays penetrating your skin

  • Prevents sunburn

  • Keeps complexion even

  • Reduces premature aging

Always reapply your sunscreen every 2 hours to minimize skin damage from the sun.

These products are worth the try, and they are viral in the skincare world! All these products are well loved by many skincare fans and have many great reviews.

double cleansing, oil cleansing
Cantella Cleansing Oil

The Cantella Cleansing Oil contains no artificial scents, making it suited for acne-prone and sensitive skin. It is also lightweight, simple to use, and ideal for beginners.

Essential Ingredients:

Centella Asiatica Extract is renowned for its calming and anti-inflammatory qualities.

Sunflower seed oil contains vitamins and antioxidants that aid in the removal of pollutants.

Bergamot seed oil has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help soothe inflamed skin.

Olive fruit oil moisturizes and nurtures the skin, helping to retain its moisture.

Jojoba seed oil resembles the skin's natural sebum, allowing it to cleanse without removing the skin's natural barrier.

lightweight sunscreen
The Round Lab Birch Juice Sunscreen SPF 50

The Round Lab Birch Juice Sunscreen is great for acne-prone skin and sensitive skin. It has an SPF 50, making it effective for protecting your skin from harmful UV rays.
The texture on this sunscreen is super lightweight and hydrates your skin. It's also really easy to blend, and it leaves no white cast, which we all love. The Round Lab Sunscreen is carefully designed and formulated without any harsh chemicals, fragrances, or other ingredients that can irritate your skin. This particular product is a chemical sunscreen, meaning it is formulated with ingredients that absorb UV rays into the skin and convert them into heat and release them.

The Birch Lab Sunscreen is my go-to sunscreen, as I said before; it doesn’t leave any white cast, and it’s so easy to use and blend, especially when you start putting on your makeup. It is my favorite part of my skincare routine; it’s also hydrating, which I love since my skin can get dry when putting on makeup.

dr. althea 345 relief cream for ance-prone skin
Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream

The Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream is great for acne-prone skin, and it’s got great ingredients that help reduce blemishes, fade away scars, and hyperpigmentation. It helps soothe irritated skin and post-acne recovery. The Relief Cream is well-suited for sensitive, combination, and oily skin types due to its light texture and non-comedogenic formula

The cream contains niacinamide, which helps reduce redness and inflammation, and panthenol, which helps with hydration and wound healing. Cactus extract helps to soothe and calm irritated skin.

The Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream has helped me with my hyperpigmentation, blemishes, and redness. I do mix niacinamide and vitamin C with it, and I noticed that it helps it clear faster. I do give my skin a break here and there since I don’t want to overwhelm my skin.

hydrating rice toner
I'm From Rice Toner

This is, hands down, one of my favorite toners. The I’m From: Rice Toner has made my skin super soft with each use. The formula is lightweight and absorbs well into the skin. It is gentle and hydrating at the same time, which I love. The rice toner helps soothe irritated skin and reduces blemishes. It is fragrance-free and alcohol-free!

I love any rice toner, especially the I’m From: Rice Toner. It has truly been a big help for me when I started getting more into skincare, and it just leaves my skin super hydrated and soft. This was my first ever toner, and I fell in love with it because not only is it super easy to use, but it leaves your skin so hydrated.

My Overall Thoughts

Oil cleansers are such a game changer in both soothing your skin (if done correctly) and removing any type of makeup, especially when it is waterproof makeup. I love how every time I use my oil cleanser, it leaves my skin better than before, and it doesn’t strip my skin dry, leaving my skin super soft each use.

If you are new to double cleansing (oil cleansing),

1. Make sure your hands are clean and dry

2. use 1-3 pumps depending on how much you need, then massage it into your face, nose, forehead, literally every nook and cranny (2-3 minutes)

3. use water to emulsify the cleansing oil and massage your face again (2-3 minutes)

4. Rinse and use your cleanser, NOT oil cleanser

Everyone’s skin is different not every product that I listed here will work for you but I hope that this helps you with your skincare journey and make sure to do your research on what works best for you. 🥰
